Homeless Ossining Man Sues Eminem

Stephen Lee Pieck, a homeless Ossining man, is suing hip-hop artist Eminem for $9 million, reports AllHipHop.com. Pieck claims he was in White Plain's Legal Seafood restaurant with pop star Christina Aguilera and her husband Sep. 9, 2010 when Aguilera put him on the phone with Eminem. At issue: Pieck then allegedly gave Eminem the idea for his "Born of Fire" Chrysler commercial, which premiered during last year's Super Bowl.

A Mountain Lion Near Pleasantville?

Mount Pleasant Police Chief Louis Alagno confirmed receiving reports of "a large cat—possibly a mountain lion" roaming the streets of northern Mount Pleasant. Police did not find the animal.

Road Rage Over Funeral Procession

A New City man was charged with drunk driving after honking his horn and leaning out of his window to yell at the driver in front of him as a funeral procession passed through Congers. Edward Tabaracci, 50, was also cited for drinking alcohol in a vehicle.

Man Ticketed For Not Leashing Dog On Walk

Port Chester police made an example of a 21-year-old man with a habit of walking his pitbull without a leash. Town ordinance requires all dogs -- no matter the size -- be leashed. Passersby were reportedly uncomfortable when they crossed paths with the duo.

Guitar Scam

A Pleasantville man reported a larceny after a deal he made to sell his guitar to an area shop went bad. The man agreed to sell his guitar for $5,000 on Dec. 15, but when he went to collect his money Jan. 10, the store owner told him someone else had already done so. Police arrested a man in relation to the complaint the following day.

Man on PCP Kicks Out Police Car Window

Peekskill police encountered James Smith, a 51-year-old resident, with an open container of alcohol and, according to police, in possession of and under the influence of PCP. Police determined Smith needed medical attention and as Peekskill EMS were treating the man, he became combative and attempted to assault police and EMS members. Officers took him into custody and while en route to headquaters, Smith kicked out the rear window of the police car.

Asleep at Confessional Booth

A man was found asleep by the confessional booth at Church of St. Teresa of Avila in Tarrytown. Police went to the scene but the individual who made the report did not want to press charges. The man did not appear to be intoxicated and was sent on his way.
