Harrison United Hoists Trophy

The Top Spot:

Harrison United won the U10/11 indoor Super League in the Fall and Spring Kickoff Tournament played at Armonk Dome this season.

The team also won the Rye Brook Tournament at Blind Brook High School this spring, scoring 15 goals while and conceding only two. They have made it through to the quarterfinals of the Arch Capital State Cup against teams from all over Westchester County, outscoring opponents 8-0.

Harrison United defeated a very good Port Chester 3-0 on Saturday before beating the same team 4-1 on Sunday at Port Chester's home field Columbus Park. Both were league games.

The team plays U10 Division W (2) Westchester Travel League.

Yesterday’s Results:

Sport: Boys Lacrosse

Game: Byram Hills vs. Harrison

Score: Byram Hills Won 11-4

Highlights: Charlie Murphy led Byram Hills with three goals in the win. Mack Husted also scored twice.

Sport: Girls Lacrosse

Game: White Plains vs. Harrison

Score: Teams Tied 12-12

Highlights: Christie Nannariello and Cassidy Cohen led Harrison with three goals a piece. Kate Leone led all scorers as she found the back of the net four times for White Plains. Harrison’s Jake Marino and Charlie Van Tongeran each scored twice.

Today’s Schedule:

In baseball, Harrison heads to Pleasantville at 4:30 p.m.

In boys tennis, Harrison will host Byram Hills 4:15 p.m.

In girls lacrosse, Harrison heads to Briarcliff at 4:30 p.m.

In softball, Harrison will host Westlake at 4:30 p.m.

In track, Harrison will host the Fulton Invitational at 4:30 p.m.
