The 30th reunion for the Harrison High School graduating class of 1980 was held on Saturday Oct. 9, 2010 at the Stamford Holiday Inn.

The event had exactly 100 classmates attend and it was a fantastic evening seeing everyone. Each classmate was given the name tag of another classmate who they had to find based on the high school graduation picture. It was fun for all in attendance to watch people find each other.

In addition to the music and laughter, the event also held a 50/50 raffle with proceeds benefiting an orphanage one of our classmates Michael Fedele established in Haiti. The winner of the 50/50, Mary Alice Shallo, actually donated her portion back to the orphanage.

It was such a great night that the class of 1980 decided to continue the event by having a tailgate party at the Rye/Harrison game on Oct. 16.
